APSR 2023 Oral Presentation Guideline

  1. Oral presentation will be held on specified dates and locations.
  2. Abstracts are grouped by topic, numbered and listed in the program, and published in the abstract book (Respirology supplement).
  3. Please submit your Presentation slides in advance to abstract@apsr2023.sg by 31 October 2023, Tuesday.
  4. Authors should save the presentation slides in a USB memory device and submit them to the Speaker Ready Room at least 1 day before the scheduled session if there are changes to your slides.
  5. Presenting authors should be at the session room at least 30 minutes before the scheduled session. It is their personal responsibility to check their presentation beforehand.
  6. Each presenting author is given 7 minutes to present the abstract followed by 3-minute open discussion (led by the Session chair/s).
  7. Oral presentation author must put Disclosure Slide sent by Congress Secretariat into their presentation slides.
  8. Please download the APSR 2023 Speaker Powerpoint Template HERE. This is optional to use or you can use your own Powerpoint Template for your oral presentation.
  • The Disclosure Slide can be found in the APSR 2023 Speaker Powerpoint Template. Please incorporate to your slides if you are using your own powerpoint template.

APSR 2023 Poster Presentation Guideline

Poster Display

  1. You are required to display your poster throughout the event from 17 November to 19 November for delegates to visit your poster any time during the event hours. The exact time and location will be advised in October 2023.
  2. Authors should also be available at his/her poster during the allocated poster sessions. Session will be limited to maximum of 3 minutes per poster and will be led by the facilitator. The schedule will be advised in October 2023.
  3. Abstracts are grouped by topic, numbered and listed in the program, and published in the abstract book (Respirology supplement).
  4. Double adhesive tape will be provided for you to paste your poster on the poster boards.
  5. Please do not use a pin or 3M double-sided form tape on the poster boards.

  1. Please prepare your poster in A0 size, portrait orientation.

Poster Content

  1. Your poster should include the following:
  • Title, author(s) and institution
  • Short summary
  • Introduction to background and objectives
  • Description of the methodology
  • Summary of results
  • Conclusions
  • Tables, graphs and pictures (coloured, if possible)
  1. The text of the display should be readable from a 1-meter distance
  2. Poster presenting author must include a Disclosure Slide sent by the Congress Secretariat on their presentation posters.

Poster Setup and Removal

  1. Your poster must be setup one day before the event (ie on 16 November 2023) and removed after the event (ie on 19 November).
