Dr. Hojoong Kim is Professor of Medicine at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine and Samsung Medical Center. Dr. Kim is a member of the Korean Medical Association, the Korean Society of Tuberculosis and Pulmonary Disease, as well as a member of international organizations such as the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, World Association for Bronchology, and the Asian Pacific Association for Bronchology. Although a major focus of his research and clinical activity has been in the field of Bronchology, Lung Cancer and Pulmonary Hypertension, Dr. Kim has also considerable expertise in IRB, Human Research Protection Plan and Safety issues in hospital management. Dr. Kim was appointed as a Congress President of 5th APCB held in Seoul, Korea at 2013.

Woo Jin Kim is Professor of Internal Medicine and Chief of Environmental Health Center of Kangwon National University Hospital in Korea. He graduated from Seoul National University of Korea, College of Medicine. He has main research interest in COPD and environmental lung health issues, particularly genetic, environmental and epigenetic effects on chronic respiratory disease. He is a member of Korean Academy of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease and American Thoracic Society and also serves as head of Environmental, Occupational Health and Epidemiology assembly of Asia-Pacific Society of Respirology. He works as an associate editor for Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease and BMC Pulm Med.

Dr. Kyung Soo Lee is a professor in the thoracic imaging section at the Department of Radiology in the Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine and in the Samsung ChangWon Hospital. His research interests focus on the diagnosis and management of lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary tuberculosis and nontuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary disease (NTM-PD). Yeon-Mok Oh is a professor of medicine at the Department of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, University of Ulsan College of Medicine, Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea. In addition, he is a president of Obstructive Lung Disease Research Foundation in Korea.
Prof. Oh completed his medical degree at the Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1990, and subsequently underwent general internal medicine and pulmonary medicine training at the Seoul National University Hospital. From 2000 to 2002, he had a postdoctoral fellowship at Cardiovascular Research Institute, Univ. California San Francisco, San Francisco, CA, USA. In addition, he was a visiting professor at Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA, USA. Prof. Oh earned his MS degree from the Seoul National University in 1994, and his PhD in 2006.
Prof. Oh is an authority on the respiratory diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and bronchiectasis. He is the author of more than 466 publications and the textbook which provides readers with an overview of COPD, the current understanding of its pathobiology, and a contemporary approach to diagnosis and treatment. Moreover, he has actively led the clinical trials for COPD, asthma and bronchiectasis based on clinical big data as the principal investigator.

She was awarded for Young Scheweitzer Award in 2009, for Best fellow presenter in internal medicine of Samsung medical center in 2010, and for LG future medical researcher in 2013. She has published over 100 SCI(E) articles (publications as first/corresponding author) mostly about COPD and asthma. She serves as the Associate Editor of European Respiratory Journal.
